Beginning in September of 2025, the first oral history effort in over 50 years was initiated to collect the lived experiences on influential people, places, and events relating to Manhasset from its founding to the present day. Many of these universal themes that are ordinarily viewed in the abstract can now be humanized, often being shared for the first time. These recordings have been transcribed and added to American Folklife Center of the Library of Congress to become part of the the broader story of America.
